How an implementation runs
- Discovery: workshops with each department, current reports and pain points, scope and milestones agreed in writing
- Configuration: company, chart of accounts, taxes, item groups, warehouses, price lists, workflows and permissions
- Data migration: masters, opening balances and open transactions imported and reconciled with you
- Customization: custom fields, print formats, reports, server scripts and custom Frappe apps where configuration is not enough
- Integrations: payment gateways, M-PESA, e-commerce, WhatsApp, banks and other systems through the Frappe REST API
- Training: role-based sessions for accountants, storekeepers, sales and managers, with written guides
- Go-live and hypercare: a planned cut-over and close support for the first month-end
ERPNext customization done the right way
We keep changes in a custom Frappe app under version control rather than editing ERPNext itself, so your system keeps receiving ERPNext updates. Reports and dashboards go into Frappe Insights or Nergaa BI instead of one-off exports.
Support after go-live
Monthly support covers functional questions, new reports, small changes and version upgrades, with your ERPNext site hosted on Nergaa Cloud or on your own servers.
Frequently asked questions
How long does an ERPNext implementation take?
A small business using accounting, sales, purchasing and stock is typically live in 4–8 weeks. Manufacturing, payroll and multi-company setups take longer; we agree the timeline in the discovery phase.
Can ERPNext be customized?
Yes. Most needs are met with configuration, custom fields, print formats, workflows and reports. Larger needs are built as a custom Frappe app, which keeps ERPNext upgradable.
Do you migrate data from other systems?
Yes — from spreadsheets, QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, Odoo and other ERPs. Balances are reconciled with your accountant before go-live.
